HEALTH GUARANTEE
At our Miniature Highland Cattle farm, we take great pride in raising healthy, well-cared-for calves. We guarantee that all our cattle are in good health, free from infectious or communicable diseases at the time of sale. Our relationship doesn’t end when your calf leaves the farm — we’re here to support you in raising a thriving, happy animal.
As dedicated and experienced breeders of Miniature Highland Cattle, we go above and beyond to ensure each calf receives proper nutrition, veterinary care, and a clean, stress-free environment. While no animal can be guaranteed to remain free from every possible health issue, we stand behind the quality of the livestock we raise.
Health at Time of Sale
Each calf is certified to be in good health to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. They will be up to date on vaccinations and deworming appropriate for their age. Once the calf is in your care, it is your responsibility to maintain their health with regular checkups, vaccinations, and proper husbandry.
Health Guarantee
If your calf is diagnosed with a genetic defect within 30 days of arrival, we require a written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian to consider a replacement. In the rare event of a death due to a genetic condition, an official autopsy report must be provided. We reserve the right to verify the findings with a veterinarian of our choice. Please note that veterinary and shipping costs are not covered under this guarantee.
Limitations
This guarantee is only valid for the original purchaser. Common travel-related issues like parasites are not covered, as they can be picked up in transit. It’s important to continue a proper deworming schedule and maintain regular veterinary care.
One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
We offer a one-year health guarantee against life-threatening genetic defects, provided all care requirements are met. If for any reason you can no longer care for your Miniature Highland calf, we ask that you return the animal to us along with the original paperwork. While we do not offer refunds, we will help rehome the calf in a suitable environment.
